  1. Soak chana (gram) dal for 4 hrs..
  2. Make rough (dardara) paste and keep this for over night. Along with chilli, ginger and salt.

  4. Take iron kadahi. Add cooking oil. Then add cumin seed, bay leave and javitri for tempering.
  5. Now add chopped onions and cook them for 3 mins.

  7. Check tomatoes and onions. If they are soft enough and oil oozing out. Add turmeric, salt, garam masala, coriander powder and red chilli powder. Mix well. Add little water if required and again keep lid on..
  8. Gravy is ready now add Khaman and mix well. Again keep lid for 2 mins..
  9. Now add curd, mix it, add chopped coriander and turn off the gas..
