- Cover the bowl and keep it for half an hour.

- Add turmeric powder also and mix it with a spoon.
- Mix it nicely into a smooth and medium thick batter, add little milk if required to adjust the consistency.
- Now put oil in a kadai for deep frying, first on high flame then make the flame low.
- Now pour batter in a bottle which has a nozzle.
- Now start making jalebis in the hot oil, in circular motion, giving it the shape of a jalebi.
- Make few jalebis at one time so as to maintain the oil temperature.
- Fry them on low heat, by turning them at regular intervals, until becomes light brown.
- When they are fried take them out on an absorbant paper.
- Now put them in the warm syrup and let them there for a minute.
- Then take them out in a serving plate and serve hot.
